Investec Cape Town Art Fair announces participating galleries

Get ready for the 11th edition of the Investec Cape Town Art Fair happening from February 16 to 18, 2024, with a sneak peek on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC).

This time around, the fair is shaking things up with a fresh theme: Unbound.

So, what's the deal with being unbound, you ask? Well, think about it – how does art set your mind free? Can it break free from the norm and challenge the status quo? The Unbound theme is all about letting art stir up your curiosity, ditching the usual stories, and defying social expectations.

The 2024 Investec Cape Town Art Fair is bringing a mix of big names and rising stars from all corners of the globe. Here are some highlights:

- 24 countries strutting their stuff, showcasing 375 artists from 54 different nationalities.

- Check out GENERATIONS, a cool new section curated by Natasha Becker and Amogelang Maledu, sparking conversations between artists at different points in their careers.

- Get ready for 34 new faces joining the exhibitor lineup.

- The Unbound City Programme is taking art beyond the fair, hitting up major institutions and making the Bo-Kaap area a creative hotspot.

And of course, making a comeback: there's the art speed dating session and the curator’s programme. Mark your calendar and get ready to embrace the Unbound vibes!
